Cesare Beccaria (1 janv. 1738 – 1 janv. 1794)
Description:
Beccaria was an Italian Enlightenment thinker who was also a Legal Philosopher, Economist, and Politician. Beccaria was for the rights of the accused, and came up with ideas like innocent until proven guilty and that there should be no death penalty or torture. He wrote his ideas in "On Crimes and Punishment".
