Thomas Jefferson (1 janv. 1743 – 1 janv. 1826)

Description:

Thomas Jefferson was born in Virginia and was part of the middle class. He was the third US president. He was the main author of The Declaration of Independence and wrote how the English was in the wrong by having the colonies as their slaves. This was later removed because it was considered inappropriate. Thomas Jefferson was also a lawyer and used John Locke's ideas of natural rights to fight cases with slaves trying to get freedom.
