Description:
German intellect Karl Marx was the father of communism. He worked with lifelong collaborator Friedrich Engels pioneered Marxism. In 1848, they published the Communist Manifesto. They saw capitalism and class struggle as highly exploitative, and called for a society in which everyone is economically equal. Marx thought the only way to overturn capitalism is a violent rising by the working class.
