Description:
He is known as one of the most ‘prominent’ and ‘historically significant’ rulers. He managed to end a period of ‘Assyrian stagnation’, more than doubled the land that was under Assyrian control, and also introduced a great number of political and military reforms. In addition he inaugurated the last and greatest phase of Assyrian expansion , conqured syria and Palestine also merging Babylonia and Assyria.
