Igor Stravinsky (Russia) (1 janv. 1882 – 1 janv. 1971)
Description:
Born into an aristocratic family, both parents were musicians. He entered law school in 1901, but kept studying music privately. He began to find much success composing ballets, and was constantly commissioned for these works. He would conduct his works on tours throughout Europe and the United States before moving to California (and teaching at Harvard).
