Arnold Schoenberg (Austria) (1 janv. 1874 – 1 janv. 1951)

Description:

Schoenberg began violin lessons at age 8, and taught himself the cello. He didn’t study music seriously until his 20s, and when he began composing some of his music was received well and other works were unpopular. He moved to Berlin to teach, then continued to move from teaching job to teaching job for a while continuing to write. He also became a painter, then moved to the United States to avoid religious persecution.
