Battle of Hue (31 janv. 1968 – 3 mars 1968)
Description:
The Battle of Hue was the main battle in the Tet Offensive. This battle was when North Vietnam and Viet Cong launched an attack against the capital city of South Vietnam. The communist efforts would control the city for several weeks until the U.S. and South Vietnamese would end more troops in to get the North to back out of the South. This battle was known as the bloodiest battle in the war. The war may have only lasted a month, but many people were hurt/killed, and much of the city was destryed.
