Description:

-Mexicans & Puerto Ricans became subjects of state-sponsored mass labor importation programs in the U.S.
-Emergency Farm Labor Program/Bracero Program: called for temporary recruitment for Mexican men to work in agricultural and railroad work
-Mexico and Puerto Rico were seen as main choices for having low-wage labor
-WW2 era resulted in an increased amount of migration to the U.S.
