Pierre Huet (8 févr. 1640 – 26 janv. 1721)

Description:

French mathematician who made important contributions to the theory of elliptic functions and the study of complex variables. Huet is best known for his work on the Riemann hypothesis and for his discovery of a new class of transcendental functions known as Huet's functions. One of his most famous formulas is the Huet-Lambert series, which provides a method for expressing certain elliptic functions as infinite series.
