Germany Invasion of Norway and Denmark (9 avr. 1940 – 9 avr. 1940)

Description:

On April 9, 1940, Germany invaded Norway and Denmark. Entering through major Norwegian ports the Germans were able to deploy thousands of troops that occupied Norway. With the protection of Britain, Norway fought alongside them and wouldn’t surrender which led to the parachute invasion from Germany. Through a tough battle and a growing German army, with many Norway soldiers leaving for France, Norway was stuck and had no option but to surrender to Germany. This was another victory for Germany, and was the second and third conquered nation that Hitler had taken over giving him more power.
