Description:
Ahaz was a very ungodly man. He rejected God by shutting the temple doors, sacrificed his own children to the baals, and stole gold from the temple to give to the King of Assyria. Ahaz died and was not buried with his fathers.2 kings 16:2
Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. Unlike David his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord his God.
