Description:

Josiah was Amon's son. He reigned for 31 years.
He was good because he repaired the temple, restored the Passover celebrations, and got rid of all the idols.
"And he [Josiah] did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and walked in all the way of David his father, and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left." (2 Kings 22:2)
a. Josiah was killed in battle against Pharaoh Neco of Egypt.
b. Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law while people were repairing the temple. This is important because now Judah can serve God like He commanded them to.
