King Amaziah's reign (1 janv. 796 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 767 av. J.-C.)

Description:

Amaziah was the son of Joash. He reigned for 29 years.
Just like his father, he did right in his youth (he listened to God and His law), but evil later (he served idols). He also did not serve God with his whole heart at the beginning of his reign.
"And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, yet not with a whole heart." (2 Chronicles 25:2)
"After Amaziah came from striking down the Edomites, he brought the gods of the men of Seir and set them up as his gods and worshiped them, making offerings to them." (2 Chronicles 25:14)
