Description:
Abijah told Jeroboam I that he had defied Gods covenant by worshiping idols. He also said that he should be King of Israel instead. Abijah committed all the same sins as his fathers, and he was not fully devoted to God.1 kings 15: 3
He committed all the sins his father had done before him; his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his forefather had been.
