Boer Wars (1 janv. 1899 – 1 janv. 1902)
Description:
The boers (decedents of dutch colonizers of cape town) began to grow hostilities toward Britain as they took over the surrounding areas. The boers used guerrilla tactics causing mass casualties and expenses for Britain. The british them implemented concentration camps for Boer citizens. Britain won the war, but at the cost of tens of thousands, public outcry at home, and rising costs.
