The end of salutary neglect as a result of the French and indian war led the colonist to declare indpenedence. They gathered indpendece through varius ways.weaknesses f AOC:
Congress had no way of its enforcing it's laws, it needed the consent of 13 states and none could all ever agree it was always split, and there was no legislative system.
