The Weimar Republic was created to be the government of Germany after WW1.
It was called the Weimar Republic after the town where the Constitutional Assembly met and created the government.
The Weimar Republic was in power for 12 year before it fell in 1933 when the Nazi party came into power.

Effects:
1. When the Weimar Republic was in power the economy dropped and they money became worthless
2. With all of the downfalls of the Weimar Republic and the Nazi party saying that they could fix all of their worry’s, some people claim that the Weimar Republic was doomed from the start.
3. Since the Weimar republic was in power in the 1919 they got most of the burden from the treaty of Versailles and were at the front of the humiliation of Germany.
4. Since Germany had to pay a lot of money back because of the treaty of Versailles their currency was 64.8 marks to 1 dollar which meant that the currency was very weak
