Description:
Socialist and nationalist revolution against US - Supported dictator.The peasants, upset at their treatment at the hands of their dictator, adopted nationalist and socialist ideas to form an army.
USSR and China supported the rebels. The war was brutal, and devastated the people and the countryside. As the US citizens back home saw photographs, news reports and videos of the violence, they grew increasingly against the war.
