League of Nations (2 janv. 1920 – 1 janv. 1946)
Description:
International organization designed to maintain world peace.European powers were soon amazed at a flood of delegates from their colonies seeking independence. They also did not have any way of addressing or dealing with international issues, and thus were unable to prevent the WWII.
While the League of Nations was US President Wilson's idea, the US did not decide to become a member.
