Description:
Anti-foreign, anti-colonial uprising in China. Peasants, angry at increasing foreign influence, came to believe that their faith in traditional Chinese culture would make them invulnerable to bullets. This further led to a weakening of the Qing Dynasty.
Over 100,000 dead.
