Bronze Age (1 janv. 3000 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 1200 av. J.-C.)

Description:

The Bronze age was an age where bronze and copper were the predominant metals used for tools and weapons. Metalworking techniques from this period originated in the Far East and spread towards Europe although there are competing theories which suggest several independent inventions of metalworking. Other technological improvements in the Bronze Age include:
- pottery
- monumental architecture
- wheel and axle
- writing (cuneiform)
- cylinder seal
- number system (base 12/base 60)
