The "Bloody Sunday" (7 mars 1965 – 21 mars 1965)

Description:

Martin Luther King Jr. led the pacific march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. This march added pressure on president Jhonson to enact a voting act and brought national attention to the brutality in the Deep South. Although the Civil Rights Act was passed in the past, the civil rights movement continued working to achieve the fulfillment of the law and the fight for equal political representation.
