Description:

A period of instability in the Home Systems resulted in several revolts and riots across multiple worlds, including Earth. Independent militias managed to take over many major sections of the planet, mainly based around the newly built SeaSprawl Archologies, where hundreds of billions of sophonts (sentient beings including Humans, AI, Posthumans and other human creations) lived mundane lives mainly hooked up in VR. The uprisings were caused by a rapid rise in sophonts ‘logging out’ and taking out their frustrations on the Federation government.
