Description:

The Solar Union had by this point extended far past the solar system, and the outer systems (led by Sirius, Alpha Centauri and Barnard's Star) after having some autonomy reduced would send “sleeper dreadnaughts” (massive warships traveling at a third the speed of light armed with enough firepower and munitions to bring down a planet) in order to break free of Solar control. A contingent from Alpha Centauri took down Earth, with the planet being placed under occupation (with very heavy resistance) for a few decades, until the Solar Union managed to dislodge the rebel invasion. Many of the rebel systems were let go, and the Solar Union went through some restructuring.
