Aristotle (1 janv. 384 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 322 av. J.-C.)

Description:

Aristotle was a hugely impactful Greek philosopher whose ideas of astrology, motion, and physics dominated scientific thought for centuries. He claimed that Earth is at the center of the universe surrounded by crystal spheres with the moon, sun, planet, and stars. Beyond that was heaven. The sublunar world, Earth, was made up of four changeable elements: earth, fire, water, and air. He believed that a uniform force moved an object at a constant speed and that the object would stop as soon as the force was removed.
