Early Modern English (1 janv. 1440 – 1 janv. 1699)

Description:

from the 15th century to mid 17th century changes in the language, grammar and syntax happened alongside the English renaissance.
The 17th century is when the British started colonies across the Atlantic ocean (the new world, Jamestown, Virginia) this was the start of American-British where parts of the indigenous people’s language was "adopted". After this from the 17th to 19th century new dialects started appearing.
During mid-17th century, the civil war and the puritan era saw more censorship introduced on the British mainland.
