Murder at Metts Crossroads (1 mars 1782 – 31 mars 1782)

Description:

John A Treutlen, first American governor of Georgia fled the British living with German relatives near Mett's Crossroads in South Carolina. Treutlen was lured by ruse from his home by Loyalist Capt James Swinney and then brutally murdered.
