Running Horned Woman (1 janv. 5000 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 5000 av. J.-C.)
Description:
Pigment on rock
Algeria
The figure is in a running position, fringe falls from her knees and arms suggesting some sort of decoration. There are markings on her body that suggest scarification. The woman is shown with horns on her head, perhaps a headdress? Above her are dots and spiked lines that could represent grain falling from a wheat field. Smaller figures surround and are superimposed on the “Horned Woman”.
