Description:
Patriot Capt Stephen "Killing Steve" Jackson Sr was a member of Lt Col Lemuel Benton's militia regiment from the Thompson Creek area. He got the nickname for killing a great many men during the war. In the Black Creek area there weren't many Whigs, so the Tories plundered the area at will. Capt Jackson and his men put a stop to the Tories and outlaws in the area.Ajouté au bande de temps:
