Tory Hanged (1 juill. 1780 – 31 juill. 1780)
Description:
The British and Patriot forces camped in an area known as the "High Hills of the Santee". The Borough House, a local tavern in the area was the scene of the hanging of an unknown Tory from a large live oak tree.
