Siege of Savannah (Second Battle of Savannah) (16 sept. 1779 – 19 oct. 1779)
Description:
A joint American-Franco force conducted a siege in an attempt to retake Savannah, from September 16 to October 18, 1779. On October 9 a major assault against the British siege works failed.
