The Treaty of Versailles is signed (28 juin 1919 – 10 janv. 1920)

Description:

The treaty of Versailles would force Germany to give up all of the land that they had taken in the war including Belgium, Czechoslovakia and Poland, return Alsace and Lorraine to France and cede all of its overseas colonies in China, Pacific and Africa would have to be returned to the Allied nations. The German army would henceforth be limited and they would have no navy. Germany also had to pay huge reparations to the allied nation 132 billion gold marks and they had to accept all guilt for the war.
This event is political mainly but also has huge social and economic connotations.
