Description:
In 1767 and 1768, John Dickinsons, a lawyer and landowner in Pennsylvania, published a series of twelve letters in opposition to the Townshend Acts. Dickinson’s letter sparked interest in other colonists and made sense to them further adding more and more people’s hate to the British government making the locals become angrier and angrier.
