Six day war (5 juin 1967 – 10 juin 1967)

Description:

Abdul Nasser closes he Suez canal, stopping Israeli shipping. Pre existing tensions after first 2 wars cause for Israel to launch a strike on Egypts air force in retaliation. Arab states rally behind Egypt and all get beaten in 6 days. Israel gained Gaza strip, Sinai, Golan heights and West bank, displacing even more Palestinians (angering PLO)
