An attempt of creating a Third Triumvirate to replace Alvear's charge (since he resigned) took place in his government, until a new Supreme Director was called.
Members: José de San Martín, Matías de Irigoyen, Manuel de Sarratea

The Triumvirate didn't took any decision while on office, and wasn't recognized as the official government outside of Buenos Aires.
But, the Triumvirate did actually selected a new Director (José Rondeau), but it was absent due to be taking part of military campaigns in the north of the country, so another person was asked to take the office
