Second Intermediate Period (1 janv. 1784 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 1550 av. J.-C.)
Description:
In 1785 a famine-stricken and poor Egpyt was slowly conquered by the Hyksos. They built or conquered a capital known as Avaris in northern Egypt and became rulers of the 15th dynasty of Egpyt. It is not confirmed where they came from. Most likely they were Semitic people who peacefully entered the region and gained political power over time.
