The Spreading of Andrew Johnson's Ashes (1 mars 2003 – 3 mars 2003)

Description:

February, 2003 – Julianne doesn’t get out of bed most days. Dominic has to take himself to school and look after Toby the best he can as Pierre is no help; spending most of his time out with his friends, as if in denial about their father’s death.

21st February, 2003 – Julianne collects Andrew’s ashes, the first time she gets out of bed in weeks. She announces that Andrew always wanted his ashes spread over the beach at Durdle Door in Dorset. And that’s where they’re going to do it.

1st to 3rd March, 2003 – Julianne takes the boys to Durdle Door where they spread Andrew’s ashes. It’s a fond memory for Dominic, even if it’s sad. The last time his mother was his mother.
