The Napoleonic Wars were a series of wars fought by France against the rest of Europe. They were important to the restructuring of Europe and the rising power of Great Britain. They were started because of underlying grudges between France and other countries. It inspired independence movements around the world such as Latin American revolutions. Key concept 5.3
