The Constitutional Convention (25 mai 1787 – 17 sept. 1787)

Description:

The Constitutional Convention took place in Philadelphia in the summer of 1787. Delegates were gathered from each state, with the exception of Rhode Island, to discuss the weak central government created by the Articles of Confederation.

1.) The Constitutional Convention made the decision to set aside the flawed Articles of Confederation and construct the Constitution as fundamental piece of American history.

2.) In addition, this meeting created a space for the state's voices to be heard. By electing delegates for the people of the states, a space of unique yet accurate representation was created.

3.) Lastly, the Constitutional Convention set the stage for the signing of the constitution, a critical event in America's history.
