The Second Perso-Turkic War began in 588, the Turkic Khagan Bagha Qaghan, together with his Hephthalite subjects, invaded the Sasanian territories south of the Oxus. But the Sasaniansfight back and reconquer the lands south of the Oxus and also capture Chach and Samarkand
