Theodore Roosevelt (1 oct. 1901 – 1 oct. 1908)
Description:
President Roosevelt responded to demands for reform by becoming more active as a president. He, as a whole, believed that the involvement and public support of the executive branch was vital to the success of the country. He rallied the public behind him to support his numerous programs and began using his power to intervene, therefore giving more power back to the executive branch.
