New Federalsim (1 oct. 1972 – 8 h 42 min, 13 juin 2025 ans)

Description:

New Federalism was brought about with the Federal Government giving grants to states but being able to impose conditions on those said states. New Federalism has given the Federal government more power as when states want to fund programs they can now use Federal Funds. Because they are using these Federal funds the government can oversee the operations of these programs and critique them in any ways that they choose. This tips the balance of power towards the Federal government over the state government.
