Southern Stategy (1 nov 1964 – 1 nov 1972)

Description:

Originally used in the 1964 election southern strategy was a Republican electoral strategy to appeal to white voters through racism towards African Americans. It ultimately succeeded in swaying voters in the southern democratic stronghold states which played a key role in many elections over the civil rights time period.
