Montgomery Bus Boycott (5 déc. 1955 – 20 déc. 1956)
Description:
After Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white man all African Americans in Montgomery boycotted the buses and walked or carpooled everywhere for over a year. The city eventually caved and desegregated the buses, a major victory for the civil rights movement.
