Post WWII Economics (28 oct. 1945 – 25 sept. 1960)
Description:
Pent-up consumer demand fed strong economic growth in the post-war period. The automobile industry made a comeback and new industries such as aviation and electronics grew. A housing boom also contributed to the economy. More people were having children, leading to a baby "boom" which meant more consumers buying family-related items. The GDP went from 20 to 50M during this boom.
