100 years war was a war fought, (at first) between, Edward III of England and VI Phillip (the lucky) of France, later continued by successive heirs. THe war can be split into three different time periods. First from 1337-1360, which turned out to be a successful campaign by Edward III. The second one was between 1369-1389 where Charles V (the wise) nearly managed to chase the English out of France, the Third period was from 1415-1453 which commenced with the Battle of Agincourt (1415) by Henry V against the French King Charles VI (the mad/ le fol).
