Description:

1987 ushered in what’s considered to be the best Ford diesel engine ever — the 7.3L. whilst constructing the new engine, Ford stored the equal stroke due to the fact the 6.9L but progressed the bore. Ford moreover strengthened the engine block and clearly redesigned the cylinder heads. One factor have become lacking even though — a turbocharger. The engine made 185 hp and 338 lb.-feet. without pressured induction.
