Third Silesian Uprising (2 mai 1921 – 21 juill. 1921)
Description:
The Third Silesian Uprising was caused by the fact that the Inter-Allied Commission was still debating on the partition of the Upper Silesian territory. Wojciech Korfanty of the Polish Military Organisation was fearful that it would go in the favor of the Germans so a large-scale uprising was planned. Fighting between Polish rebels and the German military continued even after Allied intervention on July 1st. The fighting came to an end after the League of Nations finally decided on how to partition Silesia.
