Franco-Prussian War (19 juill. 1870 – 28 janv. 1871)

Description:

A bloody conflict between the French and soon to be German Empires which ended with a German victory. Prussian forces used superior technology and better strategy to quickly move through France, ultimately taking Napoleon III captive before marching through Paris. This led to a unified Germany, as Wilhelm I was crowned emperor in Versailles.
