Heian Period in Medieval Japan (1 févr. 794 – 1 févr. 1185)
Description:
This Period followed the Nara period and lasted the longest of any period in medieval Japan. This period is known for being the peak of imperial court and had lots of art. During this period the capital was moved from Nara to Heian-kyō.
